Bacterial Life

This is a very basic "game". Well, not really a game, it is missing the majority of what would be needed to make it a game. 

Basically, as soon as the theme of "2D Life" was revealed, I thought about the 1st stage of SPORE, where you control a simple cellular life. It is distinct from all other stages by its 2D nature of it, which I thought would make it a great fit.

Unfortunately, it was not a nice week for me, and I could only get a few hours in at the start of the jam to make a basic skeleton of what I wanted; you can control the blue bacteria with WASD, eat the green "plant" food and watch pointless energy and DNA bars. There are "enemy" bacteria around, but they don't do much; in fact, they just twitch in place instead of moving as they should.
